I'm a writer who immerses himself in the world of imagination, a horseman who cherishes the bond between man and horse, and a hiker who explores the wonders of the great outdoors, usually accompanied by my intrepid canine companion.
From the time I was a young reader, losing (and finding) myself in worlds of imagination, I've harboured a passion for crafting stories that merge exciting adventures with heartfelt themes. Once I learned to pen words on the page, I began honing my writing skills.
I write in multiple genres, mostly western historical fiction and fantasy, as well as more contemporary stories of people and horses and coming of age themes, plus the odd foray into suspense and horror. If you love fiction in any of these genres, you've come to the right place.

My first novel, High Stakes, set in Victoria. BC, blends my love of western stories with my fascination with Victoria's history.
Originally published as an ebook by Musa Publishing in 2012, High Stakes won Finalist nominations for two distinct international awards, and was recognized by several smaller organizations.
